Two-Chamber, Clean Combustion
Remains are placed into the primary chamber, where they are heated and combusted under controlled conditions. Rather than driving the whole process to completion in one step, the primary chamber handles the initial reduction while the resulting gas stream is passed forward for further treatment, keeping the visible output of the process to a minimum.
That gas stream enters the secondary chamber, where additional combustion air and a dedicated burner hold the temperature high enough, for long enough, to combust the remaining organic compounds fully. This is the step that governs whether a cremation runs clean and smokeless or not, which is why the secondary chamber's temperature and residence time are engineered and monitored, not left to chance.
Burner firing and combustion air are controlled automatically throughout the cycle, so the unit holds its operating conditions consistently from the first cremation of the day to the last. What remains at the end of the cycle is calcified bone fragment, not ash, which is why a separate machine, the cremulator, is needed to produce the fine, uniform remains a family receives.
- Two-chamber, controlled combustion
- Automatic temperature and airflow control
- Clean, smokeless operation

Engineered for a Dignified, Reliable Service
Clean, smokeless operation
A two-chamber design holds combustion gases at high temperature throughout the cycle, so the process runs without visible smoke or odour, as families and neighbouring communities expect.
A dignified, respectful process
Controlled combustion and consistent operation replace manual guesswork, giving crematoria and funeral homes the calm, repeatable process the service demands.
Runs on what you have on site
Diesel, LPG or natural gas burners mean the unit is specified around your facility's fuel supply, not the other way round.
Efficient, reliable daily operation
Efficient fuel use and refractory built for daily cycles keep running costs down and the facility available when a service is booked.
Built on four decades of furnace engineering
The refractory and burner engineering behind each unit is carried over from Macrotec's broader thermal process equipment manufacture, not adapted from a single-purpose design.
Pairs with our Cremulators
Once cremation is complete, our cremulators process the remains into the fine, uniform ash a facility returns to families, completing the service with the same equipment provider.
Clean Operation, Independently Certified
Our human cremators are engineered to meet the air quality and emission requirements that apply to crematoria in our clients' regions, with the applicable limits confirmed for each project. Our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems are independently certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
