Pet Cremators

Pet Cremators for Veterinary Practices and Pet Crematoria

Macrotec's pet cremators bring the same clean, smokeless combustion used in our human cremators to companion-animal cremation, sized for veterinary practices, dedicated pet crematoria and animal welfare organisations. Individual and communal cremation are both supported, so a facility can offer families the service they ask for. Designed and manufactured by Macrotec, with over 40 years of experience in high-temperature process equipment.

How It Works

Compact Two-Chamber Combustion

Remains are loaded into the primary chamber, either individually or as a communal batch, and combusted under controlled conditions. The primary chamber handles the initial reduction while the resulting gas stream passes forward for further treatment, rather than driving the whole process to completion in one step.

That gas stream enters the secondary chamber, where additional combustion air and a dedicated burner hold the temperature high enough, for long enough, to combust remaining organic compounds. This is what keeps the unit running clean and smokeless, an important consideration for veterinary practices and pet crematoria operating close to residential or commercial neighbours.

Burner firing and combustion air are controlled automatically throughout the cycle. Where a client offers individual cremation, the chamber is loaded and cleared between each case so remains are not mixed; where communal cremation is requested, the chamber processes a batch in one cycle. Either way, what remains at the end is bone fragment, which is why a cremulator is used afterwards to produce fine, uniform remains.

Features & Benefits

Built for Everyday Veterinary Operation

Individual and communal cremation

Both modes are supported on the same unit, so a practice can offer families the service they ask for without turning cases away.

Clean, smokeless operation

A two-chamber design holds combustion gases at high temperature, so the unit runs without visible smoke or odour, suited to veterinary sites close to neighbours.

Compact footprint

Sized to fit within an existing veterinary practice or dedicated pet crematorium, without demanding the site footprint a larger facility would need.

Runs on what you have on site

Diesel, LPG or natural gas burners mean the unit is specified around your premises, not the other way round.

Simple, reliable daily operation

Straightforward controls and refractory built for daily cycles keep the unit available through a full working day.

Pairs with our Cremulators

For clients who want fine, uniform ashes returned to pet owners, our cremulators complete the process using the same equipment provider.

Compliance & Certification

Clean Operation, Independently Certified

Our pet cremators are engineered to meet the air quality and emission requirements that apply to animal cremation in our clients' regions, with the applicable limits confirmed for each project. Our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems are independently certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
