Tuned to How the Plant Actually Burns
Combustion optimisation is on-site and remote analysis of how a unit is actually burning, rather than how it was designed to burn. We measure combustion air, oxygen and temperature through a real operating cycle, then tune the settings and control strategy around the waste stream the plant is genuinely receiving.
The result is usually less fuel for the same throughput and lower emissions at the stack, which matters twice over: fuel is a running cost, and emissions are a compliance risk. The same analysis tends to surface mechanical problems that a fuel bill only hides.
The review is measurement-led: findings are reported back against what was actually recorded on your plant on the day, not a generic checklist.
The same principles apply across diesel, gas, LPG and dual-fuel burners, so the review is built around your existing fuel supply rather than requiring a change of equipment.

Any Unit That Burns Fuel to Run
Incinerators, recovery furnaces, cremators and other combustion plant across the sectors we supply, including equipment we did not originally build.
Incinerators, all ranges
Recovery furnaces
Cremators
Filtration systems
Continuous emission monitoring
Any make of thermal plant
Less Fuel, Lower Emissions, Same Output
On-Site and Remote Analysis
We measure how a unit is actually burning through a real operating cycle, rather than assuming it still matches how it was designed to run.
Combustion Air & O₂ Tuning
Air-to-fuel ratio and oxygen trim are fine-tuned to the fuel and load you are actually running, not a generic setpoint.
Lower Fuel Consumption
Properly tuned combustion typically holds the same throughput on less fuel, which shows up directly on the running cost.
Reduced Stack Emissions
The same tuning that saves fuel tends to bring emissions down too, easing the compliance risk at the stack.
Matched to Your Waste Stream
Settings are built around the waste you are genuinely receiving on site, which drifts from a plant's original design basis over time.
Any Make of Thermal Plant
The review is measurement-led, so it applies to plant we did not originally supply as well as our own units.
Emissions and Efficiency, Independently Certified
Because this service is aimed squarely at emissions and fuel efficiency, our work is carried out under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with the applicable EU Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75/EU) and South African NEM:AQA limits confirmed for each site, and tuning judged against Best Available Techniques where relevant.
Assess, Tune, Report
A measurement-led review carried out on your plant, in your operating conditions, not a desk exercise.
Assess
Engineers review the unit's current combustion performance on site or from remote data.
Tune
Combustion air, oxygen trim and control settings are adjusted against what was actually measured.
Report
Findings and recommendations are reported back against what was recorded on your plant, not a generic checklist.
Many clients pair this review with our Remote Monitoring service to track the result over time, alongside our Maintenance & Repairs agreements.
