How It Works

Servicing Built Around Your Operation

Our maintenance and repair service covers scheduled servicing, emergency breakdown response and full refurbishment of thermal process plant, whether or not it originally came from Macrotec. Agreements are built around how hard the equipment works and how far it sits from the nearest workshop, so a mine three hours from the nearest town gets a different service plan to a hospital incinerator in a city.

On-site technical support and operator training are part of the same service rather than a separate line item, because most avoidable failures start with how a machine is run day to day. We hold spares against the units we have supplied, so a failed component is a replacement, not a fabrication job.

Refurbishment extends the working life of plant that is still fundamentally sound. Refractory, burners, controls and instrumentation are replaced or upgraded individually, rather than retiring a unit that only needs part of it renewed.

Where a breakdown needs more than a phone call, our engineers can attend site directly, with response prioritised by how critical the plant is to your operation.

Features & Benefits

Support That Outlasts Commissioning

Scheduled Preventive Servicing

Planned visits catch wear before it becomes downtime, at intervals matched to how hard your plant actually works.

Emergency Breakdown Response

When something fails without warning, our engineers get involved directly rather than leaving you to a manual and a parts catalogue.

Full Plant Refurbishment

Refractory, burners, controls and instrumentation are replaced or upgraded individually, extending the life of a unit that is still fundamentally sound.

On-Site Technical Support

Support from engineers who understand how the plant was designed to behave, not a call centre reading from a script.

Spares Held, Not Chased

Parts are held against the units we have supplied, so a failed component is a replacement, not a fabrication job with a long lead time.

Operator Training

Most avoidable failures start with how a machine is run day to day, so training is part of the service, not a separate line item.

Compliance & Certification

Backed by ISO Certification

Maintenance and repair work is carried out under the same certified management systems that govern our manufacturing: ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety. A service visit follows the same standards as a new build.

How It's Delivered

Three ways to bring this service in, from a single call-out to an ongoing agreement, scoped to how critical the plant is and how far it sits from support.

Ad Hoc Call-Out

A specific fault, attended and fixed, with no ongoing agreement required.

Scheduled Maintenance Agreement

Planned visits at intervals matched to your operation, with spares availability and operator training included.

Full Refurbishment Programme

A scoped rebuild of an ageing unit's refractory, burners, controls and instrumentation rather than a full replacement.

Ask about pairing this with our Combustion Optimisation or Remote Monitoring services to keep plant running efficiently between visits.
