Two-Chamber, Controlled-Air Combustion
Waste is loaded into the primary chamber, where it is heated and combusted under a reduced air supply. This controlled-air, sub-stoichiometric condition breaks the waste down into ash and a hot, gas-phase stream rather than driving it to complete combustion in one step, keeping particulate carryover low.
That gas stream passes into the secondary chamber, where additional combustion air and a dedicated burner raise the temperature to 850-1,100°C and hold it there for a minimum residence time of two seconds, longer on the larger V330 and V500 units. This is where organic compounds are destroyed, not in the primary chamber, which is why residence time and secondary chamber temperature are the two figures that actually govern destruction efficiency.
A PLC with operator HMI monitors chamber temperatures throughout the cycle and adjusts burner firing and combustion air accordingly, so the unit holds its set point automatically rather than relying on an operator to watch a gauge. Ash falls to the base of the primary chamber and is removed without interrupting the burn, which is what lets these units run a full shift on continuous feed.
- Sub-stoichiometric primary chamber
- 2-4 second secondary chamber residence
- PLC-controlled, automatic temperature hold

Every Detail Built Around Uptime
9 models, one platform
V23 to V500 share the same two-chamber design and control philosophy, so operators trained on one Macrotec unit can run any size in the range.
Runs on what you have on site
Diesel, LPG, natural gas, dual fuel or waste oil burners mean the unit is specified around your fuel supply, not the other way round.
Continuous de-ashing
Ash is removed without stopping the burn cycle, so operations keep running through a full shift instead of pausing to empty the chamber.
PLC control with HMI
Every unit ships with a programmable logic controller and operator display, giving consistent, repeatable combustion instead of manual guesswork.
Manual or automatic feed
Smaller sites load by hand; higher-throughput operations add an automatic feeder, like the V330 shown below, to keep pace without extra labour.
Wet or dry emissions control
Add a wet scrubber or dry scrubbing with ceramic filtration when local emission limits demand it, without changing the base incinerator.
Emissions and Safety, Independently Certified
The standard range is engineered to meet the emission and safety requirements that govern our clients' operations, including the EU Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75/EU) and South African NEM:AQA, with the applicable limits confirmed for each project. Where a site's limits require more than good combustion alone, add a wet scrubber or dry scrubbing with ceramic filtration without changing the base incinerator. Our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems are independently certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Nine Models, V23 to V500
