Product Recovery Furnaces
The Recovery Range
Two recovery routes, one for loaded carbon fines from gold processing and one for precious metals carried in waste oil streams.
Carbon Fines Furnaces for Gold Recovery
Our carbon fines furnace is a highly specialised, high-temperature thermal processing unit, engineered to perform in the demanding environments of the mining and metallurgical sectors. It processes loaded carbon fines under controlled conditions, burning off the carbon and leaving the gold behind in an ash for onward recovery.
Two models are offered, the Macrotec C10 CF and the C100 CF, sized to the volume of fines a plant generates. Controlled combustion air and generous chamber sizing hold the temperature steady through the burn, which is what protects recovery and keeps stack emissions within limits.
- Macrotec C10 CF and C100 CF
- High-temperature processing
- Controlled combustion air
- Recovers gold from fines
- Built for mine site duty
- Emissions control options
Waste Oil Precious Metals Recovery
Waste oil and oily residues from processing and refining can carry recoverable quantities of precious metals. Our recovery system thermally processes those streams under controlled conditions, destroying the organic fraction and concentrating the metal content into a residue that can be refined.
The unit is built on the same platform as our carbon fines furnaces, with refractory, combustion control and emissions handling engineered for continuous industrial duty. Configuration depends on the feed, its metal content and the emission limits that apply on site.
- Thermal processing of waste oil
- Concentrates metal content
- Controlled combustion
- Continuous industrial duty
- Emissions control options
- Configured to the feed
Built to Recover, Not Just to Burn
Engineered for mine sites
Built for the demanding environments of the mining and metallurgical sectors, where equipment has to run reliably a long way from the nearest workshop.
Value recovered, not just destroyed
These furnaces exist to turn a low-grade or waste stream back into recoverable metal, so the return is measured in recovery, not only in disposal avoided.
In-house engineering and control
Combustion control and instrumentation are developed in-house, the part of a high-temperature unit where recovery and emissions performance are won or lost.
Recovery Across Mining and Metallurgy
Our recovery furnaces run on gold mines and in metallurgical plants, refineries and waste oil processing operations, wherever value is locked into a residue stream.

Built for Emissions Compliance
Recovery furnaces are high-temperature thermal plant, so they are specified against the same emissions framework as the rest of our range, supporting the EU Industrial Emissions Directive (2010/75/EU) and South African NEM:AQA, with the applicable requirements and any gas cleaning confirmed for each project. Our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems are independently certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
